Privacy policy

In short

• Web Audit Pro collects no personal data and sends nothing to our servers.
• The analysis is carried out on your computer, by the local analysis program installed with the extension.
• No account, no advertising, no audience measurement tool, no resale.

What the extension reads

Only on the page you are auditing, and to produce the audit:

• the page's address, title and HTML code, its meta tags, headings, images, links, scripts and stylesheets;
• the browser's performance measurements (Core Web Vitals);
• the names of cookies readable by the page, to identify the technologies used (never their values, and no access to protected cookies).

On other pages

The extension only detects the site's technologies to show a counter on its icon; nothing is stored or transmitted.

Where this data goes

• To the local analysis program, installed on the same computer and reached through the browser's native messaging. The analysis models also run on your machine.
• For the audit, your computer contacts only the audited site (headers, image sizes, links, sitemap, crawling). For a comparison with a competitor, the competitor's site is opened in a background tab and then closed.
• Information checking (pasted text or an article link) is also done locally: no third-party service is called.
• No data is sent to Dealmood Solutions or to any third party.

Storage on your device

• Extension local storage — light or dark theme, score history (address, date and scores, up to 50 sites), PDF report customisation (name, site, logo) and report information you enter (auditor, client, objective).
• Session memory — the last 10 audit results, erased when the browser is closed.
• Nothing is synchronised with your browser account. PDF reports are generated in the browser.

Permissions requested

• activeTab, scripting — read the page that is open when you start the audit.
• storage — keep your settings and history on the device.
• nativeMessaging — communicate with the local analysis program.
• Site access (http and https) — detect technologies and audit the page of your choice, on any site.

Your rights and data deletion

Web Audit Pro has no user account: we hold no data about you. To erase everything, uninstall the extension (its local storage is deleted with it) and, if you wish, the local analysis program. The report logo and name can also be reset from the extension.

Changes

If a feature were ever to send data off your device (for example usage statistics), it would be turned off by default, subject to your explicit consent, and this policy would be updated before it goes live.
